Energetic Administrative Officer

We are looking for an:

energetic administrative officer
For our international department
(1,0 fte – part-time is negotiable)

Key aspects: communicator, hands-on, spider-in-the-web, organizer, service minded, self-starter – ‘never a dull moment’.

We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic and experienced administrative colleague, who likes to take things on and be in contact with parents and students.

You will work in our international department in which you encounter a great variety of nationalities and cultures. (Near) native command of English and Dutch is therefore  essential. Occasionally you will be asked to do some translation work.

You have experience in maintaining a well-organised administration. The international student administration is your responsibility and you support the student admission process. We work with a number of (international) administration systems (SOMtoday, ManageBac, OpenApply).

You will give information on school regulations and processes to students and parents.
You will maintain the school calendar for the international department. You do student exam registration, check results and process these.
Of course you will work together closely with the international management team, the school-wide administration team, teachers and external school relations.
Improving processes and procedures comes naturally to you.  It gives you energy to (help) organize and co-ordinate activities for the school.

Who are we?
Het Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest distinguishes itself by its focus on international-mindedness. We offer Dutch, bilingual, and international education, all under one roof. We put this into practice with a team of more than 150 staff. About 25% of our almost 1400 students follow the international programmes offered by the International Baccalaureate, which shapes the school’s international atmosphere.

We offer
The vacancy has a one-year probation period leading to a permanent position. Candidates who would like to share this position in a part-time role are also invited to apply.

Apart from an ambitious working environment, an international atmosphere and professional colleagues, short communication lines and room for initiative and professional development, terms of employment are also important. We offer you a salary in line with your education and experience. Of course the Dutch collective labour agreement for secondary education applies.

In addition, we offer an attractive number of extras, such as a stipend for union membership, a bicycle purchase scheme, a sports scheme and a discount on a number of insurance schemes.
