The Supervisory Board of Stichting Het Rijnlands Lyceum has appointed M. Verheus PhD as a member of the Executive Board of the Stichting. Martijn Verheus comes from The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where he has served as faculty director since 2018. He was previously a lecturer and programme manager. He studied, among other subjects, Nutrition and Health and obtained his PhD in Oncological Epidemiology.

Martijn Verheus will join Arjan Kastelein as a member of the Executive Board with effect from 1 January 2025. Arjan Kastelein will remain chair. This means that from that date the Board will consist of two members. The Board is being extended due to the increasing executive demands and activities.

Martijn Verheus is well-suited to address the executive challenges of the eight Dutch and international schools and will make a valuable contribution to education in the region.
